Privacy Policy
Margaret is a mobile app development studio. This policy explains, in plain language, how we handle information on this website and when you work with us — and the choices you have.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Margaret (“Margaret,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our website and our mobile app design, development, and related services (together, the “Services”). Margaret is operated by Margaret Wrabel, based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, United States.
By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, request a quote, or engage our Services, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company details, and any information you include in your message or project materials.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, certain information may be collected automatically:
- Device & technical data — browser type, device, operating system, and referring pages.
- Usage data — pages viewed and general interaction data, in aggregate, to understand and improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising tracking.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and provide our Services;
- Communicate with you about projects, scheduling, and invoices;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website;
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver our Services), our legitimate interests (to operate and improve our business and website), your consent (where required, such as certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We share information only in limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted vendors who help us run our business (for example, hosting, email, analytics, and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.
- Protection of rights — to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, safety, and property of Margaret, our clients, or others.

6. Cookies & analytics
Our website may use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at margaret_wrabel@icloud.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
12. Client projects & end users
When we design or build an app or product for a client, that client is generally the controller of the personal data collected through their app, and we act as a service provider/processor under our agreement with them. Each app we deliver should have its own privacy policy provided by the client. If you are a user of an app we helped build and have a privacy question, please contact that app’s publisher; we will assist our clients as needed.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
